American Aesthetic Movement PAIR OF BEDS

Unusual pair of American Aesthetic Movement, Eastlake mahogany "youth" beds.  Very hi-style, solid mahogany with matched burl veneer accents on headboard, footboard and rails.  Circa 1880.  Free standing (finished all around) extra nice quality and condition, both with original rails.  The exterior length is 78" the exterior width at the widest where a decorative element sticks out is 41 1/2", the rest is 37" wide. The height of the headboard is 46" the footboard is 30" tall. The height off the floor to the bottom of the rail is 5". The interior measurement is 33 1/2" by 74" and will accommodate an 8" box-spring.   Price $1,900. each or $3,500. for pair.
