CHALKWARE STATUE

LARGE CHALKWARE RECLINING NUDE. Circa 1920 beautifully rendered statue of a senuous (Greek? Roman?) woman recling on a chaise lounge. All orignial "as found" condition, small imperfections and some wear to the paint, but nothing that takes away the beauty of this very large sculpture. She is nude to the lower body with fine detail of her body and draped fabric. She has bright blue eyes and pink lips. Her hair is upswept and gold. A wonderful example of very early 20th century chalk ware.  Unmarked. 14" tall x 6" deep x 24"wide.  Price  $395.00
