ansonia mantel clock

Circa 1882.  Ansonia Clock Co., of Brooklyn,  New York, mantel clock.  Very stylish Victorian mantel clock in enameled cast iron, with gilded incising and accents. This clock's outstanding features are the gilded nude winged figures flanking the clock body and an exceptional gold clock face. All original with no touch ups or replacements. Signed and dated on the clock movement. Good over-all condition with some small scratches and chips appropriate to it's age. 12 1/2" tall x 15" wide x 4 3/4" deep.  Price $1200.
