french country tall case clock

Circa 1850.  Elegant, French country tall case clock in hand-painted pine.  This beautiful case houses an exceptional brass pendulum clock with an ornate face  featuring a large Peacock on each side.  The body is grain-painted to look like an exotic wood and the base is decorated with a painting of a charming country scene.  The porcelain dial is signed "Malgouyre" and has the original ornate hands and Roman numerals.  All original and good working condition. Grain painted and decorated pine, brass and porcelain clock.  96" tall x 24" wide x 10" deep.  Price $8,500.
