EDWARDIAN ENGLISH WALL MIRROR

Circa 1910.   Extraordinary English Edwardian mirror. Boldly detailed, yet elegant, this pierce carved walnut mirror would draw the eye in any space. The elaborate carved crest, frames a tri-color family crest. The half-columned wood frame is a warm walnut which retains its fine original patina. The upper portion of the mirror is flanked by an overlay of softly gilded gesso as are the other decorative portions of this mirror. The flat plate glass is original and in good antique condition, with only minor fogginess.  This fine mirror is all original and in very fine condition and finish with only minor evidence of some old re-gluing at the crest.    Size,  46" tall x 21 1/2" wide.  Price $950.00
