Circa 1870.   Charming, Gothic Revival Hall Stand in American Black Walnut. All original and fresh from a fine Brooklyn brownstone, this fine example of Victorian furniture is as decorative as they come. It has a central, round mirror surrounded by pierce carved tri-foils and six well turned spindles for hats. The shaped open side sections are for canes and umbrellas and the stand has retained its original fancy cast  iron drip pans which are set into the base. There is a central shaped shelf , turned front columns ant a handsome center pediment. The whole piece rest on small, round turned feet. All original, signed on the back, L.D. Barnes, Poughkeepsie, NY. Very good original condition with some old re-gluing.   Size,  84" tall x 32 1/2" wide x 12 1/2" deep.  Price $950.00
