VICTORIAN DRESSING MIRROR

Circa 1870.  Very grand, ornate, Late Victorian, dressing mirror.  This large, lovely mahogany mirror is oval in shape with graceful, rounded and carved arms which rise from a curvy, carved base to hold the pivoting glass. The center of this base is curved and raised and contains a velvet lined compartment, the bottom apron is pierce carved . Very fine original condition, with beautifully figured mahogany with it's warm original patina. Original flat plate glass mirror which is "sparkly" but not scratched or spotted.  23" widest  x 31" tall x  10 deep.  Price $1200.00
