AESTHETIC MOVEMENT FLUE COVER

Circa 1885.  Fine, rare Aesthetic Movement flue cover. This unusual piece is one of a pair of smaller flue covers that we recently purchased from a long time dealers personal collection. In the sought after "Orientalist" taste, it features a beautiful young gypsy woman in full regalia. The mat is a dull gold with a black ring. All original, tin frame, glass and chain.  Very fine original condition.   A rare find.  8" diameter. Price $175.00.
