PEACHES & GRAPES ON A LEAFY VINE

Circa 1880.  Charming antique oil on board still life painting. All original, this lovely painting is of peaches and grapes on a leafy vine. The frame is Aesthetic Movement gilt gesso with chrysanthemums. The painting has some scratches on the top left corner and the frame has some old repairs. The back is covered in wood and says "Capps" which is possibly the artists name as the front is un-signed.  Fine gilded period frame in very good over-all condition.    24" tall x 19 1/2" wide, framed.  Price $395.
