Circa 1830.  Unsigned European oil on canvas painting.   Here you are offered an impressive portrait of a dark-haired, distinguished lady, wearing a green, elegant dress.   She stands in front of a grey garden wall, leaning her left arm on it.  In the background is  a beautiful, mountainous landscape, stretching towards the horizon.  The painting has been relined and appears in  good condition.  The frame is a beautifully gilt and molded wooden frame that appears to have been re-gilded in the recent past.  33" high x 29" wide overall.  Price $3,600.
