Circa 1890.  Small, fine, decorated jam or mustard pot. This single handled Victorian porcelain covered pot has sweet, brightly colored flowers with raised gold detail. The back round is white on the bottom shaded towards the top to a soft, light green. The lid repeats this color scheme, reversed with the green on the bottom shaded to white on the top. Both the pot and lid have brushed gold edges and the finial is also brushed gold. Marked on the bottom as pictured, probably by the artist, I do not know the maker. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate.  Fine original condition. 4 1/4" tall x 3 5/8" wide.   Price  $85.00
