Circa 1885.  Very fine, unusually shaped, English Aesthetic Movement jug. This lovely piece of 19th century porcelain is very like fine Royal Doulton of this period in both form and design. It is un-marked except for the letter "G" and the numbers 581. Naturalistic in form, both the handle and lip of this pitcher looks like gilded growing coral and shell. The body is ivory colored and the design is a variety of flowers and leaves done in many vibrant colors. Very fine original condition with no chips, cracks, losses or repairs.  7 3/4" tall x 4 3/4" around.   Price $225.00
