LARGE LIMOGES T & V PLATTER / CHARGER

Large Limoges transfer ware charger. Circa 1892-1907.  This fine porcelain platter features old-fashioned petal pink roses, strewn around a swath of green interlinked leaves and vines. In the center are three pink roses and some leaves, The very decorative rim of the platter has a raised decoration highlighted by gold gilding. The platter has two sides extended to form handles. The back-round color is a soft antique ivory.  The porcelain is fully marked T & V Limoges  France. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate, very good original condition. 141/2" diameter at handles x 13 1/4".   Price  $85.00
