VICTORIAN FOUR PIECE CAKE SET

Circa 1890.  Gorgeous Victorian four piece cake set. This lovely flower decorated pedestal dish comes with three original large plates, each decorated with graceful flowers and leaves on a soft white back round with brushed gold detail. All the edges are ruffled and also trimmed in gold. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate.  Fine original condition. Unmarked. 9" diameter pedestal dish x 2 1/2"tall, plates are 8 1/2" diameter.   Price  $225 for the set.
