WORCESTER WOVEN BASKET

Circa 1862-72. Delicate Worcester "woven" basket. This fine small piece of English Victorian porcelain is done in an unusual color and is an earlier example than the Royal Worcester that we usually come across. The porcelain is very fine, the form graceful and the color is shaded from ivory to a strong yellow.  Fully marked, Worcester England. Fresh from a local Brooklyn Estate. Very good condition with no wear but some stubborn dirt on the underside of the handle.  4 1/4" tall x  3 1/8" wide x 3" across.  Price  $110.00
