ANTIQUE Lighting & sconces

Circa 1890.   All original pair of large cast bronze mirrored candle sconces. Each one of these finely cast sconces features an original oval beveled mirror framed by a ring of acanthus leaves which is in turn surrounded by an outer ring of open cast leaves.  The large top crest has more leaves with the head of a lion as the center of the medallion. The bottom of the frame features more leaves with a flower center to which three candle arms with cast cups and bobeche are attached. Good original condition with only a small (1/2") area of loss to the silver on the bevel of one mirror. Original brass back and cast brass hanger. Can be electrified for an extra charge.. Fine original patina.  20 " tall x  11 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" deep.   Price $ 1200 for the pair.
