FIREPLACE SUMMER COVER

Late Victorian cast iron fireplace insert "summer cover" Circa 1895.  Beautifully cast scene of Classical motifs, including an urn, beading, floral wreaths and Greek Key corner detail. All original, from a local Brooklyn brownstone, never re-painted. Full marked on the reverse, W. L. Sharp & Son 1895. Very good condition, no damage we have cleaned it and it is ready to be re-painted if wanted.  25" tall x  22" wide.  Price $250.00
