FIREPLACE SUMMER COVER

Copper Fireplace Insert "Summer Cover". Early 20th Century (circa 1910-25), I have never seen a fireplace insert like this one. Fashioned from pressed copper, much lighter than the standard cast iron, with a pattern of oak leaves ringing a center flaming torch. It is two pieces, the outer collar and the removeable centerpiece. Excellent original condition, perfect finish with no damage. The only sign of its age is very minor oxidation of the copper along the bottom of the cover which can be seen as a slight green tinge in our photos.    30 1/2" tall x  30 1/2" wide over-all.  Price $385.00
